Workshop Details

We will be hosting a workshop to bring together multidisciplinary experts from the following fields: human factors, computer science and AI, economics, labor and human resource management, public policy, and equity and diversity. This multidisciplinary team will have the critical task of generating a national research agenda to better understand AI and its impact on the future of office work.

This workshop will be conducted via Zoom on October 5th. The agenda for this workshop is listed below.

Workshop Agenda

10 - 10:45 AM CST

Our research team will present our preliminary insights from interview discussions and themes found in the literature review. Workshop attendees will be grouped into thematic areas based on attendees' interests and preliminary research themes.

11AM - 12 PM CST

Small groups will form and begin to brainstorm in breakout sessions. Their goal will be to generate research questions, as well as determine priority, required expertise, and tools/resources needed.

12 - 1 PM CST

Lunch break

1 - 2:30 PM CST

Small groups will continue their discussions

2:30 - 4 PM CST

Small groups will share their ideas with the larger group. The larger group will discuss future collaborations and work plans.
